What a sight, thousands of spider crabs all together for their mid winter moult. It lasts a few weeks and then all goes back to normal until next year.

Me and my boyfriend were looking for a romantic & relaxing vacation. We hate “commercialized” resorts, but something w/ a lot of activities; horseback riding, scuba, snorkle, fishing, lots of Bars & nightlife. Can you help me?
looking for: not commercial, but lots to do! relaxing & romantic would be ideal.

We booked trip to Sandals resort in Ocho Rios Jamaica for daughter’s wedding. Wedding is now OFF. We weren’t crazy about Jamaica – have heard high crime horror stories & been told its great on the resort, but not to leave it due to the crime. We can switch to another Sandals (several on Jamaica, as well as St. Lucia, Antiqua, Bahamas) – we like to swim, eat, maybe scuba or snorkeling, maybe boating, shop, visit historic sites or points of interest, explore new places – we play a little golf or tennis, but not into it in a big way. Not into heavy drinking, partying, or dancing. Looking for more relaxing persuits, lounging around, walks, sunning, etc. I thought St. Lucia looked interesting – volcano, rainforest, whale watching – any opinions positive or negative on visits to Sandals resorts & these islands is appreciated.

Do I need to do some sort of course to use a camera while scuba diving? or is a normal PADI scuba diver certificate fine? Sounds a bit stupid..but thought it better to ask before spending £300+. Thanks!

I’d like to see El Yunque rainforest and also go snorkeling or scuba diving. I don’t really care what the resort has to offer besides nice guest rooms & hopefully kind staff. As far as price range goes, if there are rooms for under $300/night including any extra fees, that would be great. Thanks.

Also, is it important to speak Spanish in Puerto Rico?

I am a healthy 17 year old female athlete. I recently tore my left ACL and will be recieving surgery. I have a scuba trip planned this summer in Hawaii. How long until I can go scuba diving after my surgery? I have already torn my ACL, PCL, and miniscus on my right knee and rocked physical therapy (planning to rock it again) but didn’t scuba at the time so I dont remember how long until I would be able to.

Does anyone know any fun resorts in Costa rica with many fun activities.. they must me familly friendly. Something with snorkeling, swimming, hiking, zip-lining, scuba-ing and maybe horse back riding. Also it would be good if the rooms were nice. Also, we dont want to be bored after the first day. Thanks!

Every time I wear my scuba diving goggles, the pressure of the goggles against my skin causes an indentation to form accross the skin of my forehead. It goes away in a few hours, but will eventually lead to forehead wrinkles?
