Yes, I have a suggestion- take an umbrella and find one with a decent sized storm cellar.
I don’t know much about the Dominican…..I prefer Tahiti ….
check out wwwtripadvisor.com they have tons of pitcures from guest and reviews of nearly all the resorts, i would start there. also travelocity.com gives real excellent prices most times better than travel agents
