Author: Hi. I am off to Aruba in teh first week of October. I intend to scuba alot. Looking for a good hotel on the beach if possible. I saw rates of $112 at Aruba Resort Spa And Casino and $105 at Divi Dutch Village.
Which would be a better hotel to stay at. I want the beach/pool for my wife who won’t dive. But we want to eat in the city… I hear the restaurants in the city are great. So which is closer?
Should I rent a car, or can I do without one?
Anyone know a good Scuba Dive shop in Aruba?

How do i get started in scuba diving?
I’m planning on learning to scuba dive but have no idea how much it would cost.
All the details i can get would really help.
