Began as a member of the US Swim and Dive Team. Gold medal winner in Jr. Olympics. Scuba certification and weekend free diver from 1993 which led to being a member of Jean Michael Cousteau’s dive team off of the Yucatan in 1994. Since then, I’ve worked to hone my aqueous abilities and have put them to use both Internationally and domestically for film, television, commercials and documentaries. Experiences include both tank and open water environments, salt, fresh and brackish water, hand signals and hydrophone, and working with a large variety of marine animals including dolphin, whale, eel, shark and alligators. Competent both in front of the camera and as a safety diver.

I am going to go Scuba Diving for my first time, and I’m going to the Great Barrier Reef. How much does it cost to get PADI certified? How long does it take? Do I need to buy equipment for training? And while diving in the reef can I wear a wet suit that only goes down to my knees and elbows? Thanks
