The Iberostar resorts in Riviera Maya are very nice.Very excellent snorkeling in Puerto Morelos. Check out Snorkel Adventure.com. for excursions.
Just hop on a ferry in Playa Del Carmen to Cozumel, top scuba diving in Mexico. Snorkeling too.
Iberostar Paraiso Maya (7 restaurants, 5 pools, shuttles to Playa del Carmen) or Iberostar Paraiso Del Mar( 6 restaurants ) are excellent choices for resorts.

Take pleasure in and have fun

In Cancun, we always stay at the Park Royal. It’s all inclusive, but also a time-share, so beware if you don’t want to buy into them. They’re everywhere.

I recommend something in the Riviera Maya. More specifically, I would recommend Playa del Carmen.
Before living in Playa, I stayed in the Porto Real years ago. I did not do the all inclusive with meals included so I do not have much comment about this particular stay but what I will say is that I did take pleasure in the location of being “in town”. This particular hotel is one of the few all inclusives in the middle of Playa del Carmen. Most of the others are either all together on the south end of Playa in Playacar, a gaited community but I do not find it simple to walk into “town” and taxi’s can get pricey. Some of the other resorts are spread out along the coast even out of away from towns. But maybe this is what you are looking for??
Everyone likes different equipment – so this is only my preference… I would prefer for visitors to see more than just the all inclusive area… and engage in all the fun the town has to offer.
Porto Real has a new hotel in town next to the one I stayed years ago. Porto Real is the one I stayed in. It is a bit older and I reckon the new one next door seems nice and like. I reckon it is called Gran Porto Real.
I can not vouch for the hotel since I have not stayed but it is worth read-owing to out due to in town location.

I also like a non traditional all inclusive that offers breakfast or breakfast and dinner included called Las Palapas on the northern end of Playa’s beach. I find it to have a gorgeous setting and a place that feels more like Mexico than some of the large resorts.

As for other equipment I have heard from living here for years, I have been told that the Royal Hideaway All inclusive Resort is the best in Playacar. Maybe check it out too?

    Take pleasure in!

Iberostar chain of hotels are fantastic, go on their website. It’s all inclusive, clean, safe water to drink, huge diversity of cuisines, on the beach and they have free snorkeling. Scuba diving is there too, but one would have to pay.
